Emperor Bot collects only the data necessary to provide its features. When you authorize Emperor via Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. When the bot is added to a server, we store server-specific configuration such as moderation settings, custom commands, auto-reactions, and music preferences.

• Discord User ID and username — for command usage and moderation logs
• Server (Guild) ID — to associate settings with your server
• Channel and Role IDs — for feature configuration (welcome channels, auto-roles, etc.)
• Message counts and leveling data — for the XP/leveling system
• Music queue and playback history — for the music system

All collected data is used exclusively to power Emperor Bot's features. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to third parties. Specifically, your data enables:

• Moderation actions (warn, ban, kick, timeout)
• Leveling and message tracking
• Auto-moderation and content filtering
• Music playback and queue management
• Custom commands and auto-responders
• Ticket and suggestion systems
• Birthday reminders and AFK status

Data is stored securely in a MongoDB database. We retain configuration data for as long as the bot remains in your server. If the bot is removed, all associated server data is automatically deleted within 30 days. Individual user data (such as XP and warnings) is retained only while relevant to server operations.

Emperor Bot uses the following third-party services solely for operational purposes:

• MongoDB Atlas — Database hosting for all persistent data
• Discord API — For bot operations and user authorization
• YouTube & Spotify APIs — For music search and playback (no personal data shared)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of data associated with your Discord user ID
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Remove Emperor Bot from your server at any time, which triggers automatic data cleanup

To exercise these rights, contact us through our support server or email the bot administrator.

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, secure token storage, and restricted access to production systems. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Emperor Bot is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Emperor Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
